Community Involvement Event: Coats for Kids
Once the temperature begins to drop, we know winter wear is a necessity. But for low-income families, buying all that gear can be tough to afford. And the budget can get particularly stretched if children are involved.
That’s why we will be hosting our upcoming coat drive on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in support of the Fairfield Community Services Foundation. This year, Soroptimist International of Central Solano County (a community service organization of which Michelle is a proud member) is collecting 125 coats (new, with tags) to support children (ages 4-15) of low-income families in Fairfield and Suisun City and we want to help them reach their goal.
Taking place at RE/MAX Gold Fairfield (1411 Oliver Rd Ste 180, Fairfield), our team will be accepting donations of new warm coats, with tags. Members of our team will be on hand collecting coats, with the goal of donating 25 coats. We are excited to help support FCSF in their mission to help make Fairfield a better place to live.
As a small token of our appreciation for your support, we will have hot chocolate, coffee and snacks on hand. We appreciate your generosity!
If you have donations, but aren’t able to make the event, you can drop off with the front desk of RE/MAX Gold at 1411 Oliver Dr, Ste 180 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday leading up to the event. (Just mention that it’s for Michelle Perez!)
If you would like to provide a monetary donation, please call/text Michelle at (707) 208-2557 and our team will gladly go shopping on your behalf.
